Thank You!

Classics Day 2017 was a huge success! Thank you so much to all of you who came to see us at UVA and we hope you enjoyed your time with us. We couldn’t have done it without you and our wonderful volunteers.
We will be setting the date for next year’s Classics Day in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for a “Save the Date” email.

The Classics Club at UVA Board

(Alternate title: Pot Club)

Classics Club’s bookclub/potluck is tonight! Join us at 6:00 PM tonight with an empty stomach and a full brain for some gripping discussion of Achilles in Vietnam!

Video/Game Night

Not to be confused with videogame night… Join the Classics Club on Friday, September 23 at 6:30 pm for a fun night of analogue games on the Lawn, and then a classics-themed movie once we’re all good and gamed out. Games AND snacks will be provided, but feel free to bring your own and teach us all about that collectible card-based strategy farming sim you’ve been dying to share with your friends and family. Be there or be square.

Mellow Mushroom Trivia Night!

Get hyped for our first Classics Club even of the year!!! On September 7th, we’ll be meeting at 7:15 at the statue of Homer on the south end of the Lawn to walk over to Mellow together. Trivia starts at 9:00, but we’re getting there early because tables fill up fast! There are bonus points awarded to teams who incorporate a pun related to the weekly theme, so be sure to bring your punning hats.
